*****NEW THIS YEAR ~ WEEKLY MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL BOARDS*****The main Survival contest starts on NFL week #2 games of September 14th. Pick times are Tuesday, September 9th, at 6pm thru Friday, September 12th, at 10am. When the Survival contest is down to 1% of the entries, all remaining will be polled and vote to either:
Majority Rules The Suicide contest will be limited to 1000 entries and run the same as last year. The entry fee is 100 miles plus 20 miles service charge. The total fee is 120 miles per entry. 100,000 returned as follows: When the contest is down to ten entries each will receive 5000 miles (total 50,000 miles) and then the contest will continue until there is only one entry left or the Super Bowl is over to split the remaining 50,000 miles. Less than 1000 entries will be prorated. The difference in this contest is you can pick each team only once. This contest will start week #3. So the Survival contest will start week #2 September 16th, and the Suicide Contest week #3 September 23th. The Suicide contest will be limited to 1000 entries and run the same as last year. The entry fee is 100 miles plus 20 miles service charge. The rules sheet you receive with your entry explains all details. Please get your entries in early. If you are short or don't want your money out too early postdate your check to September. I will not cash them until the date on the check. This will expedite my work in returning your instructions and hopefully stop the last minute barrage of entries. For the Super Bowl contest, all last year's entrants' spots will be reserved and held for you until December 1st, 2008. Please get your entries in early. In the past, many people have waited until the last minute then faxed in their entry. No more entries without payments will be accepted except from the few people that have large groups previously set up with me to have time to get their details together We also have a 100 mile contest half way through the season. That contest will start on NFL week #10 games of Nov 9th. The rules are the same as the Survival contest but returns 80%. When submitting your picks, we prefer email or fax because we then have a written record. If you do not have access to either we will accept phone calls as in the past. However, please only submit your picks ONCE. Some faxed and called, or emailed and faxed, etc. - we will get your picks. Please, please do not duplicate. Once again, you can visit us on the web at www.patsportstravel.com, where you can get the current and past breakdowns and download entry forms and contest rules. Please make your entry forms legible and mark any changes. Use the address where you want your mail to come. Make sure we have contact numbers for you.
We get over 80% of our entries the last 3 days before the game, after we have already begun taking picks and it makes it very difficult. If you need time to collect from your friends, etc. or are waiting on money, send it in, post date it and possibly put a note on it. I won't cash your check until you tell me, but please help me run an organized contest by being early. |
